PRELUDE TO PARSIFAL
(WAGNER'S WILL)
Theatrical Feature Film,
Canada/Germany/UK Co-Production

One man's dream would bring
scandal to the New World...

Synopsis:

New York, 1903. The Metropolitan Opera's new manager, Heinrich Conreid, must convince powerful New York society that he is worthy of running such a prestigious institution. To do so, he defies the late Richard Wagner's will in order to stage "Parsifal", the composer's last opera. This final masterpiece was to remain exclusive to Wagner's theater in Bayreuth, Germany. Conreid's bold gesture wakes the wrath of Wagner's passionate and powerful widow, Cosima, and provokes an unparalleled cultural scandal.

Amidsdt the backdrop of historical events and personalities such Enrico Caruso, Augustus Julliard and J.P. Morgan, the legal feud is only half the battle as Conreid pits his life's dream against Wagner's will.

CARDINAL RULES
13 X 30 minutes Television Serial Drama
A Quebec/Ontario Co-Production

Sexy high drama, witty dialogue, always shocking plot twists and characters that can't help but get entangled in each other's lives.

Synopsis:

Bienvenue à Montréal, a city of overt sexuality and sin. The nightlife is hot. The restaurants are hopping… so are the biker gangs, the tourists, the stress-on-the-street and the strip clubs. Multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-faceted. It's the type of place where people make eye contact. Where flirtation is an art. Montreal is about living. Eating well. Dressing well. Simply, it is a city of many passions.

Set against this backdrop, Cardinal Rules is a show about the Cardinals, an unconventional family comprised of two twenty-something grandchildren and their uptight grandmother Louise who desperately tries to maintain order in their lives. Order is rarely maintained.

Meet the Cardinals…

Louise (62, looks 52): obsessed with image… controlling, rule-maker, ball-breaker.

Billy (23): grandma's little angel…gorgeous, horny, opportunistic.

Bridget (25): a work in progress…cynical, witty, craves independence.

Omar (44): Louise's manservant…and undercover lover, fiery, brutally honest.

On the 42nd floor of a downtown Montreal high-rise Louise Cardinal….rules.

Who ever said apartment living was easy?
